Emily Leibin
Emily Leibin is a member of the inaugural D-Crit class of 2010. She studied for her Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design at the Pratt Institute, where her thesis was exhibited at the 2004 ICFF. She has pursued a career in industrial design, fashion and footwear, and worked with a number of brands, from Converse to Donna Karan New York. Emily’s designs have appeared in publications including Time, Vogue, and Wallpaper, and her writing on design has most recently been published in Surface. She grew up in the Connecticut suburbs, which served as the inspiration for her graduate thesis, Hidden Nature: Rediscovering Elroy Webber’s Modern Architecture.
