Kimberlie is a freelance writer and Communications Associate for The Water Tank Project, a landmark public art exhibition set to transform the New York City skyline in Summer 2013. Before joining The Water Tank Project, she served as the Program Coordinator for Deepak HomeBase, a conversational platform headed by Deepak Chopra at ABC Carpet & Home in New York City. Her writing has appeared in Abitare, Domus, Azure, Metropolis, Canadian Art, Design Bureau and Architect’s Newspaper.
Kimberlie graduated cum laude in Art History from Brown University and was a Silas H. Rhodes scholar at DCrit. She has gathered diverse experiences in art and design through the opportunity to work with inspired individuals such as Holly Brubach (in the creative direction of Canada’s premier fine jewelry brand), Steven Heller (in the researching of his forthcoming book Writing is Design), and institutions like the Walker Art Center in Minneapolis and Montreal design gallery, Les Commissaires. An avid traveler, she relishes the opportunity to explore creative worlds of all kinds and the challenge of fastening their vibrancy to words.
