Stephanie Jönsson
Stephanie hails from upstate New York. She graduated with honors from Pratt Institute’s Theory, History, and Criticism of Art, Design and Architecture program in 2008, where she served as the Vice President of the History of Art Student Association. With HADSA she helped organize lectures by Cynthia E. Smith, Curator of Socially Responsible Design at the Cooper Hewitt, and Walter Liedtke, Curator of European Paintings at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. After graduating, she interned with Paola Antonelli, Curator of Contemporary Design at the Museum of Modern Art.
Her thesis is on shifting perceptions about the agency of sound in twenty-first century design.
Currently, she holds an internship with Susan Grant Lewin Associates, an architecture, art and design public relations firm. She also contributes restaurant listings to the New York Magazine website.
