2014 New Year’s Resolution Workshops with Ayse Birsel

Ayse Birsel hosts two New Year’s resolution workshops at D-Crit in early December: Saturday December 7 and Sunday December 15. Sign up here.

Give yourself the first gift of the season: set aside a few hours to playfully identify your resolutions and design your life with renowned designer, Ayse Birsel. Or give it as a gift to a loved one!

Here is a short film, “Why Design?” on Ayse and why your life is your most important project. Or for more information on the workshops, you can read the blog entries by Linda Tischler for the Huffington Post and by Molly Klimas for Metropolismag.com.

A note from Ayse Birsel:

“I think our life is our most important project. It is full of constraints and challenges, just like a design project. It’s this realization that inspired me to apply my design process to my life—that is how Design the Life was born. It has been growing by word of mouth ever since.

People who have come to the workshops have told me that they wanted to pause to reflect and think about their lives differently, creatively. Some because they were just beginning a new phase in life; others because they were contemplating what would be next. Regardless, all were interested in design or at least, in the idea of designing their life.

Whatever your reason for coming, I want to give you the design tools to think about your life, playfully and optimistically.

I hope you can join us.”
