Antenna Design, “Design for Activation”

Masamichi Udagawa and Sigi Moeslinger are co-founders and partners at Antenna Design New York Inc. Together they will speak about their belief in design’s power to activate people, both physically and intellectually, and to stimulate social interaction. For Antenna Design, “people-centered” design means recognizing people as complex beings with the potential to learn and grow, to be responsible, creative and reflective.
Antenna’s mission is to make the experience of objects and environments more meaningful and exciting. Its design projects range from public and commercial to experimental and artistic, typically spanning object, interface and environment.
The Fall 2009 Design Criticism MFA Lecture Series is open to the public. You are warmly invited to attend our lectures, to see our new department and to meet with speakers, faculty members and students over a drink. Space is limited; RSVP to dcrit@sva.edu as soon as possible.
