D-Crit Represents at 2009 Aspen Design Summit
D-Crit student Chappell Ellison (winner of the 2009 Winterhouse Design Writing Awards), faculty member Julie Lasky and D-Crit visiting lecturer Allan Chochinov, will be among the invited participants of the 2009 Aspen Design Summit, held from November 11–14 in Aspen Meadows, Colorado.A partnership of AIGA and the Winterhouse Institute, the Aspen Design Summit is a global workshop of designers, NGO decision makers, corporate leaders, and experts who work together to motivate the global design community to engage in projects that promote social change. The projects being developed this year include CDC Public Health Programs for Older Adults, National Design Center for Rural Poverty Programs, UNICEF Education Programs, Sustainable Food Innovation and others.
